WhatsApp testing ‘Status Archive’ feature for business accounts

After rolling out the ability to edit sent messages and lock chats, a recent report by WABetaInfo suggests that the developers are now working on adding the ability to archive the status for WhatsApp business users...

Available to select beta users, with WhatsApp Business Android version 2.23.11.18, users archive their status updates 24 hours after it is posted..

Once available, users will get a banner in the apps Status tab suggesting that updates will be kept on their devices for up to 30 days after it is shared and that only the user will be able to see the archived updates...

Currently, the ability to add status updates to the archive is limited to business users, but WhatsApp might roll out the feature to normal users in the future...
