After broader market, languishing largecaps will reverse: Mahantesh Sabarad

Market expert Mahantesh Sabarad says largecaps will start getting re-energised and some of the stocks have started really doing well..

But the point I am making here is that we have had large companies going through some form of M&A activity; HDFC Bank and HDFC Ltd, Reliances demerger of Jio Financials; ICICI Bank wanting to get ICICI Securities into itself..

Primarily commodity inflation will provide the trigger and capex coming in the services sector should lead to a demand revival soon..

If and when that happens, we will see a situation where power, particularly on the generation side, will see increased appetite coming in both in terms of capex and investors are also getting gung-ho about that...

This whole move of retiring old plants and the unmet demand which has kind of narrowed down to nearly zero would lead to better growth ahead for power generation companies...
