India wants greater access for its skilled professionals from sectors like IT and healthcare in the UK, market access for several goods at nil customs duties and social security agreement in the pact to ensure that employers are saved from making double social security contributions for the same set of employees posted in other countries..

Indias main exports to the UK are ready-made garments and textiles, gems and jewellery, engineering goods, petroleum and petrochemical products, while key imports include precious and semi-precious stones, ores and metal scraps, and engineering goods...
