Six people, including two home guards and four civilians, have died in the recent violence in Nuh, Haryana, with 116 arrested in connection with the incidents. Haryanas chief minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, has appealed for peace, with 20 paramilitary forces and 30 police units spread throughout the state to maintain calm in response to violence, which has since also broken out in nearby districts, including Gurugram.
