Users can now create a unique username for Signal and adjust settings for who can find them via their phone number...

While we changed the default to hide your phone number from people who dont have it saved in their phones contacts, you can change this setting..

You are not required to create a username and you have full control over whether you want people to be able to find you by your phone number or not..

Once these updates are live, your phone number will only be visible to people who already have it saved in their contacts..
