Govt to expedite inspection of crisis-hit Byju’s accounts

Prompted by fresh troubles hitting the edtech major BYJUS, the Corporate Affairs Ministry said it has asked its field officers to expedite and submit the inspection report of the companys books of accounts that they had started as far back as July last year...

The latest trouble to hit BYJUs was on February 23 when a group of shareholders voted to remove the founder Byju Raveendran and his family members from the board over mismanagement and failures...

The ministry will decide the further course of action after receiving the report from its Hyderabad office..
