Market in a zone where we will have a 15% move two-three times a year: Sunil Singhania

Sunil Singhania, Founder, Abakkus Asset Manager LLP, says the appetite for Indian equity from domestic continues to be very strong and from the global guys also it seems to be increasing quite visibly..

If we are lucky and have a good monsoon backed by good growth which is becoming visible, the governments resolve on spending money on infrastructure again is very visible and corporate India is looking at an expansion which is also visible..

We are in a zone where we will have a 15% move in the market two-three times a year and that is the reason we are seeing these bouts of markets going down and coming up from time to time..

Inflation has hit a significant low post the Russia-Ukraine issue even in India and there is general optimism of good growth going forward and the markets are looking with a lot of optimism and the last thing is that in 18 months, we have not seen Nifty go anywhere and we are still at the October 21 levels as far as Nifty is concerned...

It looks like the recent rally, the summer of 2023 rally, still has some more headroom left.. Sunil Singhania: Frankly, how many times we might try, near-term moves are just a toss of a coin and frankly we do not know..
