A report in the publication, quoting unnamed sources in the traffic department, said that the cricketer was given challans for crossing the speed limit on the expressway..

The skipper was reportedly on his way to Pune to join the squad ahead of the India-Bangladesh match on Thursday as a part of the ongoing World Cup..

The report added that traffic authorities said that Sharma was driving at astonishingly high speeds, even reaching 215 km/h multiple times..

The maximum speed limit of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway is 100 km/h, which means that the Indian skipper was driving his Lamborghini Urus over twice the speed limit!.
