In a press note, the agency said that its Mumbai unit had received a tip about an Indian national suspected of leaking information to some Pakistan-based intelligence operatives..

The suspected person, who hasnt been identified, was in contact with these operatives through social media in April and May 2023 and then again in October 2023, the ATS alleged...

It was revealed that the suspected person passed on confidential information about a subject classified by the Indian government through Facebook and WhatsApp chats in return for money, the ATS said in the press note, adding that an investigation is underway...
