As the new BJP-led government settles in Tripura, Protem Speaker-designate Binoy Bhushan Das, who was elected from Panisagar constituency in North Tripura district, Tuesday said he would be sworn-in by Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya at the Raj Bhawan Wednesday afternoon...

Speaking to indianexpress.com later this evening, the Protem Speaker designate said after his own swearing-in ceremony, the legislators of the BJP and its ally IPFT, who would be members of the treasury benches, would be sworn-in by him on March 16 at the state Assembly..

Thirteen MLAs from the TIPRA Motha party, who are still in talks with the central and state governments about a constitutional solution for the tribals have maintained so far that they would not join government in Tripura unless a permanent solution for alleviation of problems faced by the tribals is offered..
