Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, on Saturday presented his second state Budget and announced hiking the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of cow milk and buffalo milk to Rs 45 and 55 per litre respectively...
Previously, the MSP on cow and buffalo milk was Rs 38 per litre.. Further, he also announced the Rajiv Gandhi Prakriyat Kheti Yojna which aims to train farmers in natural farming techniques..
He also said that the BJP-led Centre had not provided any special package and that the Congress government in the state had announced a special package worth Rs 4,500 crore for those affected by the monsoon of last year...
Sukhu also said that the Centre's dues to Himachal amounts to Rs 22,406 crore and stated that the reason Himachal Pradesh's total debt was Rs 87,788 crore was because of the previous BJP government's mismanagement in the state's finances...
