The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Singh after questioning him at his Delhi residence. Singh's lawyer opposed the remand plea and stated that demanding 10 days is absurd for someone not involved in the matter. The ED claimed that Dinesh Arora, an associate of Singh, gave Rs 2 crore to him. Singh's arrest has drawn criticism from opposition leaders.
