Modi addressed the 'Viksit Bharat Viksit Northeast' Programme in Itanagar and said, "When the Congress government was supposed to build modern infrastructure near the borders, they were busy with corruption and kept our borders and villages underdeveloped, thereby jeopardising the security of the country..

Modi inaugurated, dedicated to the nation, and laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth about 55,600 crores in Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh...
