BJP leader Gourav Vallabh on Sunday took a dig at the Congress, saying his former party's manifesto has been prepared by the same person for the last 30 years who has not even "contested the election of a class monitor"...

Gourav Vallabh, who recently switched over to the BJP, appeared to take a dig at Jairam Ramesh, who is Congress's general secretary in-charge of communications...

Without naming Jairam Ramesh, Gourav Vallabh said if the person's ideas in the manifesto had strength and merit, then Congress would not have shrunk to only 52 seats in the Lok Sabha...

Amping up his attack, Gourav Vallabh said the Congress leader in question has no ideology or commitment towards the party because "all he cares about is protecting his Rajya Sabha seat"...

"This person (purportedly Jairam Ramesh) has not even run for the position of a class monitor in school...He just calls up a few journalists and gets copies published," the BJP leader said.. Further, Gourav Vallabh took a swipe at Congress candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, claiming that some of them do not know that "Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are different states"..
