16, Jul, 23North India Rain LIVE: The continuous rain in northern parts of the country has crippled life, killing several people in cases of floods and landslides across regions. Though the raging Yamuna has started to calm after breaking a record of 45 years, water has receded. But several key areas in Delhi remain flooded. As many as ten people were killed in Uttar Pradesh in rain-related incidents in the last 24 hours as showers continue to lash the state. Several districts of Punjab and Haryana have also been affected by the recent downpour and at least 55 people have died in rain-related incidents in both states. Himachal Pradesh has suffered losses of about Rs 8,000 crore as heavy rains wreaked havoc in the hill state, triggering landslides and flash floods and damaging roads and other infrastructure.
