Govt launches GST reward scheme in 6 states, UTs; Rs 30 crore corpus for prize money

Govt to launch 'Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar' initiative

Every month, there will be 800 lucky draws of Goods and Services Tax (GST) invoices having a prize value of Rs 10,000 each, and 10 draws with a prize of Rs 10 lakh each, the finance ministry said in a statement. For the bumper prize, a quarterly draw will be conducted for all invoices uploaded in the last three months (till the 5th of the month of the bumper draw).
