The Popular Front of India (PFI) had plans to unite minorities, SC/STs and marginalised communities to divide Hindus for political gains, as well as to infiltrate the army, police and judiciary to establish Islamic rule in India by 2047, according to the National Investigation Agency...

This person stated that "social-welfare activities are used by the PFI as a facade to mask its nefarious, anti-national & unlawful and violent terrorist activities to gain support of masses and portray itself as a saviour of the Muslims and portray the entire government machinery as anti-Muslim", the chargesheet said..

"The real objective of PFI is to overthrow the democratically elected government and replace it with a Shariat-based social order for converting India into an Islamic nation by engaging in acts of selective violence and systematic elimination of leaders and all those who oppose the PFI's ideology of Islamic extremism, including Christians and liberal Muslims," it said, citing the recorded statement...

The PFI, banned by the Ministry of Home Affairs in September 2022, was raising or collecting funds from within India and abroad for unleashing violent and terrorist acts in various parts of India, including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, the chargesheet stated...
