Meanwhile in southern India, due to a 'Low-Pressure Area' over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea, several parts of Tamil Nadu will face heavy rain.. The IMD said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in several parts of Tamil Nadu including Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai and Ramanathapuram districts of the state...

Meanwhile, the Regional Meteorological Center (RMD), New Delhi, forecasted cloudy weather in the national capital with a possibility of light, which is expected to improve the air quality in the city...
