Earlier Air India pilots had raised concerns of multiple instances where the airline was forcing pilots to operate flights beyond their duty hours...

In January, Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA) and Indian Pilots Guild had written to DGCA saying that the pilots are threatened by duty managers that career progression will be impacted if they don't operate the flights...
