As the Bharatiya Janata Party is set for a dominant win in Madhya Pradesh state elections, party leader and union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia strongly responded to Priyanka Gandhi's comment about his height..

Without taking the name of Congress leader, the BJP leader told a TV channel said that the people of Gwalior-Malwa and whole Madhya Pradesh have shown how tall they are," in reference to Priyanka Gandhi's comment on his height...

Priyanka Gandhi had made the comment during an election rally while criticizing Scindia for betraying the people who had voted for him...

Separately, speaking on the victory of BJP in Madhya Pradesh, Scindia said people have blessed the party's "double-engine" government at the Centre and in the state because of its welfare and development policies...

"I have always told you that as far as Madhya Pradesh is concerned, people have given all their blessings to the double-engine government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi (at the Centre) and in the state led by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan because of its welfare and development-oriented policies," Scindia said..
