Indigo, the largest domestic airline in India, has announced the introduction of fuel charges ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 due to the rising prices of Aviation turbine fuel (ATF). The new pricing structure will be implemented from October 6 and will be based on the distance of the sector. Passengers booking Indigo flights will have to pay a fuel charge per sector, with higher charges for longer distances.
